Payments and Shipping
You do not need to create an account to place an order on Petit Fox. You can checkout as a Guest.
You can pay for your order via MBWAY, ATM, Debit Card, Credit Card or Paypal.
If you choose the Multibanco option, please bear in mind that your order will be placed in pending mode and you will have 24 hours to make the payment. After this period, the order will be canceled and the items will be available for purchase again.
We ship to DPD delivery points and to your home via CTT Expresso.
Continental Portugal:
- Delivery to pickup point (2-3 days) - €3.95
- Home delivery (2-3 days) – €4.95
- Express home delivery (1-2 days) - €6.95
Portugal - Islands:
- Delivery to pickup point - €8
- Home delivery – €9
Europe Zone 1 (France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands): €12
Europe Zone 2 (Luxemburg, Italy): €15
If you live near Ericeira or have a family member or friend who lives in the area, you can opt to have someone to collect your order for free, directly from our offices. Collection times are on weekdays, between 10am and 1pm, by prior arrangement.
Please note that we are not a shipping company and cannot guarantee exact delivery dates. In order for us to prove that the delivery of an order has been completed, we do not need to prove that you have received it in person, but only that someone at the shipping address has signed the delivery form. Please make sure that an authorized person is present at the address indicated to sign for and receive your order.
This option is only available to customers living in Portugal mainland. The option "Do Not Send Now" allows you to purchase your favourite pieces and receive them in one go as soon as you reach the free shipping threshold (34 euros). Once the limit is reached, all accumulated orders will be sent free of charge, automatically, to the pickup point of your choice.

- When completing your purchase, select the option “Don’t Send Now!”.
- Proceed to pay for your order.
If you want receive your orders before reaching the threshold value and decide to pay for shipping costs, let us know by email. You can follow your order history from your account if you create an account at the time of your first purchase at Petit Fox.
To use your Petit Fox credit balance, simply enter the code sent to you via email at the time of checkout.
You can use the same code as many times as you wish, up to the limit of your balance, within a period of 1 year (365 days). To check your current balance at any time, you must enter your account and click on the option that allows you to check your coupons.
Returns and refunds
We take great care to ensure that every item we sell is in excellent condition so that you are always 100% satisfied with your purchase. If you find that the items do not fit or are not exactly as expected, we are happy to accept returns, provided that:
- Items are returned to us in their original condition within 14 days of the date of receipt.
- Items sold as "Never used" or "New" are returned with the tag intact and are still new, unworn and unwashed.
Please contact us by email [email protected] before returning your item, explaining the reason.
You can choose between receiving a refund via bank transfer, MBWay or via a credit note to use in the Petit Fox online store, valid for 1 year (365 days) from the moment we receive your returned item.
Returns are free. After we receive your return request, we will send you a shipping note to attach to your packaging.
Shipping costs for the original order are non-refundable. Sale items cannot be returned.
Sell to Petit Fox
We are very particular about quality. For your own satisfaction, we only purchase items that match our selection criteria.
We do not accept low quality clothing and will select items very carefully. Please be as selective as possible when choosing the clothes you want to sell.
We require a minimum of 20 items that match our selection criteria. You can, of course, send more, as long as they meet our selection criteria. If you have less than 20 items, please contact us.
Our sales process was designed to be as simple as possible. Here are the steps to follow:
- Make sure the clothing you sell complies with our selection criteria;
- Fill out the respective form (sending by post or delivery to Ericeira) found here page with your data;
- If you wish to send the clothes to us by post, we will send you by email (for packages up to 5kgs) a shipping label* that you must print and stick on your package;
- The package must be delivered to a delivery point or CTT post office. Discover the closest point to you here.
- If you choose delivery to our headquarters, please wait for our confirmation by email before proceeding with delivery.
*The value of shipping costs (€4.50) will later be deducted from your quote.
There is no need to send us photographs, as the parts sent will have to be inspected individually. Once we receive your clothes, they will be evaluated according to our selection criteria.
By mail
We work with CTT to send orders to our headquarters in Ericeira. O Shipping costs €4.50 for packages up to 5kg* for shipments from mainland Portugal, and the order must be delivered to a CTT collection point:
If the order exceeds 5kgs, you will be charged the following amounts according to the weight:
- Between 5kg and 10kg: €2
- Between 10kg and 15kg: €4
* Value to be deducted from the quote for your clothes by Petit Fox
Make sure the clothes sent are properly packaged in a cardboard box before shipping.
To send your clothes by post, please fill out the corresponding form found on this page. You must wait for the transport guide to be received via email, which you must attach to your box.
Hand delivery
You might deliver your clothes directly at our headquarters in Ericeira (Praceta do Rio da Meã, 6) from Monday to Friday, between 10am and 1pm, by prior appointment.
Before hand-delivering your clothes, please fill out the corresponding form found on this page, where you can schedule delivery.
We will send you a label that you must print and stick on your package.
Please wait for our confirmation before visiting our facilities.
You will find your packaging code on your label. Visit the CTT website to follow the shipment.
Please make sure your package label is scanned when you deliver it. CTT and Petit Fox cannot be held responsible if the packaging has not been scanned and ends up being lost.
Petit Fox is not a transport company and cannot be held responsible for losses arising from negligence on the part of the transport company. In case of problems during the transport of your package, do not hesitate to contact us so that we can track the information with the transport company. We will do everything possible to resolve the problem.
The price proposal applies to the entire box. It varies from box to box, as it depends on the style, of original price, from the brand, from the quality, from the amount and from category of each item.
If items have a strong demand or are from a brand of high quality, we will pay more for them. We also pay more for new items and that still have the label, as long as they meet our selection criteria.
We also take into account the work required to choose, refresh, style, photograph and store clothes, as well as the work of attracting and serving our customers. On average, you will receive between 30% to 50% of our sales price.
Everything counts when added together! Remember if, Unlike consignment stores, we buy all items from you right away - you won't have to wait for items to sell to get your money.

We value those who, in addition to selling, also aim to buy clothes for their children at Petit Fox. After all, our mission is encourage the reuse of clothes, contributing to a reduction in textile waste. That's why Your quote will always be higher if you opt for store credit.
When you sell your children's clothes and maternity clothes to Petit Fox, you receive payment immediately, even before the items are sold.
It's a very simple 3-step process: pack, to send, to receive.
In the case of consignment stores, you have to wait for your items to be sold to receive your money, and there is no guarantee that they will be sold - or that they will be sold at their original price, as these stores They make big discounts to boost the sale of their items.
You may be able to make more money by selling clothes individually through platforms like Facebook or Vinted, but most mothers find that it's not worth all the extra time and effort it takes.
It's easy to forget how much time it takes to take photos, price items, upload images, edit the ad, answer phone calls or respond to messages, and wait for a purchase that often doesn't happen. .
Selling to Petit Fox ends up resulting in more money for less, much less work!
We will do everything we can to process the evaluation of your clothes as quickly as possible. Once your package is delivered to Petit Fox headquarters, you will receive your quote within 2 weeks.
You can choose 2 payment methods:
Store Credit Option: 100% in Petit Fox store credit + 20% bonus*
Immediate Payment Option: 100% immediate payment (bank transfer or MBWay)
*If you choose to receive 100% in store credit, you will receive an additional 20% on top of the immediate payment amount.
Payment will be made within 2 weeks from the date of acceptance of the quote by MBWay or transfer. Please note that our payments are only made on Tuesdays.
Our goal is to buy every piece you send us, believe me. However, in order to guarantee the quality of the products sold in our online store, each item must go through a rigorous evaluation process.
We do not repair or wash the clothes that arrive to us, so any item with stains, yellowing, missing buttons or holes, etc., will be rejected. New items with tags may also be rejected depending on their condition.
If too few items match our selection criteria, we reserve the right to reject the entire package entirely. You will be charged for shipping costs for returning the package (€9 for a package weighing up to 5kgs, to cover shipping costs in both directions - heavier packages will be charged according to their weight).
Items rejected by Petit Fox may still be used by other children or mothers. We may donate them to charities for you. If you want the rejected items to be returned to you, you must bear the shipping costs, worth €5 per package up to 5kgs.
Please note that CTT keeps your packaging for a maximum of 5 days from the moment you receive your SMS/notification. If you have not collected your order within 5 days, it will be returned to Petit Fox and you will have to pay the shipping costs to have it sent to you again.
Please note that all clothes not collected at Petit Fox within 10 days will automatically be sent for donation.
